i’ll be carrying this amazing fabric around until i find a satisfying way of using it. it came from grandma’s and i just love it. it has this sort of oriental touch, though i have no idea where it came from. it’s cut up in an odd shape and it’s not much in quantity, that’s why i have to think hard about how to use it.

  1. Very nice! It’s a classic piece of Liberty’s finely woven, lightweight fabric (known as ‘Tana Lawn’) printed with an art nouveau pattern called ‘Ianthe’.

I look forward to seeing what you make with it. Liberty’s sell (or used to sell) small handkerchiefs made out of this type of fabric. If all else fails, that wouldn’t be a bad use. :)
