PASSA-MONTANHA0001

inspired by these ‘bonnet/neckwarmers’ from my childhood, i’ve been making a few new pieces. this cute boy in the photo is my brother.

the truth is that, even without noticing, i’ve been searching in my childhood for a new breath for what comes out of my hands. the simplicity of childhood. the sleeping slippers my greatgrandma crocheted for us, lovingly. and the countless pot holders that made their way to my home and that still move me. the knitted sweaters mom made for us. it makes sense to me that what comes out of ones hands comes from the core, from within memories we carry.
